The Dominican Republic shares the Caribbean island of Hispaniola with another country, Haiti. Other surrounding countries are Puerto Rico on the east & Cuba & Jamaica on the west. What attracts me to the country is that it has 800 miles of white sandy beaches where each beach has its own special character. It is a lot of beaches to visit to have fun & take some memorable photos & also beautiful photos of people & scenery.
Another activity that would be exciting on the island is to do some hiking on the 3,000 meter lush green mountain in the Dominican Republic. Also note that gambling is legal throughout the country. I do not like to gamble but I like to look at the slot machines as they are fascinating with the light, sounds, & of course, beautiful ladies in the many casinos.
