Yes, I was healthily entertained when I watched the suspenseful Quarantine movie. It was not really scary for me because I understood that the afflicted were actually or were once normal human beings. Instead, I was more pumped up with adrenaline for survival. Yes, the film will 'pull' people into it. Just check the snippet or trailer on the Quarantine movie official site. Shot in the limited context of a small apartment building, Quarantine is fine example for low budget film makers. Pity no character survived in the movie. :-\ Then again, by having survivors, the movie would not have had such an intense affect on viewers. I will agree with you. Quarantine, I believe, is a well thought out piece of art work.
