Futuristic Organic Nano-bots Promotes Eternal Life

The advances of nano-technology, specifically futuristic organic nano-bots able to replicate human cells will one day give humans the opportunity to live forever, no more deaths by natural cause and from old age.

Cancer & every other know disease will be a thing of the past as the organic nano-bots become part of body system that consistently maintains the physique of a person to a young adult age and rids anything that is not meant to be in the body’s natural system. Even what used to be fatal to humans like gun shot wounds for example will no longer hold true as the organic nano-bots intelligently transforms themselves into cells of human tissues, bones, organs, & etc as quickly as how the bullet tears away into the body. Basically, the outcome is that the bullet is seen to harmlessly & even painlessly pass through the body.

At the rate our technologies progresses today, it would not be surprising for the organic nano-bots to be a reality somewhere in the future. Perhaps the achievement will be possible within another hundred years of human progress. Will such an achievement of humankind be a blessing or will we be placing a curse on ourselves which might include losing our natural selves: how we exist today on earth to live, breed and die; for the sake of what some people would term as our own natural ‘evolution’? Organic nano-bots in essence changes nothing about humans. Humans are beings of progress and have dealt with changes for thousands of years in our recorded history.

Overpopulation & freedom of reproduction will be the main issues faced by humans of which eternal life is commonplace. The worst drawback of such a potentially eternal existence would be overpopulation and humans could starve to death as food source quickly & dangerously depletes, especially in nations with incompetent governments. Also, population control could become so stringent that nobody will make babies with the exception of the privileged super rich & powerful which even for them would be in a very limited fashion. Freedom of reproduction will continue to be an issue, at least until humans are able to colonize stars to further fill the entire universe with our colonies.
