I don't believe in killing human beings at all. Accidentally killing an attacker in self defense is something, as any decent law states, might not be blamed on the defender. Furthermore, I think killing is not right even when it is a soldier's duty to carry out orders a.k.a 'just doing his/her job'. What hogwash! Thus, such a soldier that has done so has lost his/her humanity although it might still be recoverable. A soldier is still a human being, with a good mind to know what is right and what is wrong and decide for one's self; not a shell of a human (a killing machine) that blindly follows orders to kill. That soldier, wanting to kill again thereafter, I find, is disturbing.
