In times of war, what paper currency do you think will be worth to put your fortune into? The answer: none of them. As governments spend obtrusive amounts of money into their war efforts, taxing the people and printing out disproportionate amounts of paper currency in an effort to paint a picture that all is well with the economy, the value of the money will become lesser because there is not enough real gold to back their currency. So where do you put your fortune in times of war then? Put them in precious metals - buy gold coins if you must because the fall of economies will not affect your fortune much as compared to having your fortune in paper currency – manipulated by irresponsible governments.
