Serious About Horoscopes

Imagine there are people who follow this prophecy strictly. Reckon they will be living a self-fulfilling prophecy kind of life. Do you know what I mean? Such people are being led and they do not lead their life. Why do they except such a way of living, in your opinion? I think there could be a lot of reasons for it. Perhaps, some of them find that their lives as an unimportant aspect of their existence and are willing to let it governed by somebody who reads tarot cards all day.

Another reason is that they have found a connection with the horoscopes; you know; a sense of belonging to a belief system - to make them feel like a part of something bigger than themselves. Yet another reason would be that the person desperately wants a change in his/her life; at least for the day and sub-consciously plots the course of the day according to the daily prophecy.

All of the above reasons can actually be a good thing and they sound absolutely normal, don't they? Some people happen to apply horoscopes into their lives instead of something else or some their job and even lesser, nothing at all. Some people read horoscopes just for fun.

Among other things, I actually write and self-syndicate licensed horoscopes for a living. I encourage my readers NOT to take them seriously. I certainly don't. Astrology is an incredibly complex art form, and writing the average daily horoscope takes in only one of the signs that are active in a given person's chart, the sun sign. There is no reason for readers to take a daily sun-sign seriously. See: http://www.astrology.ca/Brandi-Jasmine/about-sun-sign-horoscopes.html ... horoscopes should be seen as an entertaining diversion, nothing more. That's how most astrologers see them.
