Crabs, the Little Boy and the Big Rat

He finds himself sitting having a drink with this other guy and little boy. He is fond of the little boy. This place where they are having a drink is at the side of a lake. Seems like everyone else here is of Chinese origin. There is a food truck nearby and more in the area. Suddenly this guy who looked like a Malay man comes up to the table and asks us whether we want to order some crabs. He likes to eat crabs very much especially big crabs. But today is not the night to eat crabs. He only wants to have a hot drink.

All of sudden a big rat runs towards the table. The little boy got scared and immediately stood up and ran away. To his surprise, the boy leapt into the lake to get away from the incoming rat. He was shocked and quickly got up to get the boy out of the lake. He picked up the boy and then caught the rat and dumped it into a pool nearby. Then he climbed back up to the sitting area and proceeded to go to the toilet and clean himself up.

Upon returning to the table he found that his friend and the little boy had gone to meet the man who was selling crabs before. The man showed him the top most crab and offered to sell it to them for $20 and also showed them two blue crabs which he said was for eating later and cost $15. The man was shocked to hear the ridiculous prices for the crabs. He said to the seller in Malay language, ”Kepala hotak kau!” which means “Your head is wrong” in English. He thought to himself, “I can buy a much bigger crab for half the price elsewhere.”
