Let’s Go Russian Movies!

Since I am on a holiday in Tatarstan, Russia at the moment; I shall be viewing some Russian movies. Obviously, some reviews of Russian movies shall be posted on the movie special blog. It could be difficult to find them on the internet unless you know Russian language.

The new Russian movies that I have viewed so far like ЖесTь & Прорыв are quite good & comparable to Hollywood movies minus the big budgets. Also, even though I only know Russian language on the elementary level, I reckon I can grasp the idea behind the movies, its emotions, & etc without being constrained too much by the language barrier.

Merry Christmas to all good Christians around the world! I wish you all a happy Christmas holiday & splendid festivities. Christmas is a yearly occasion to be cherished by Christians. It is an occasion where family, relatives & friends come & visit each other then decorate the Christmas tree together.

Of course Christmas is more than just decorating the Christmas tree. It is not a real Christmas without snow. No snow in your country. Well, thank goodness for imitation snow bought over the counter in stores. Now you can make snow indoors too minus the cold. Another joyful experience is when giving & receiving presents during Christmas.

Movie Special Blog's 1000th Post Today

Today, my movie special blog has just received its 1000th post! Now it is 1001 posts & counting. :) Yes, it is not 1000 words but 1000 posts. I have written 1000 words reports in college but today is the day that my movie special blog has reached it millennium mark in terms of posts. :)

I am very proud of my movie special blog. I am always proud of things that occur for the very first instance in my life. YYAAyyyYY! WOooHhhoooooo! 1000th Post! Congratulations to my movie special blog. :)

Happy Aidilfitri Shout Out to Good Muslims

I would like to take the opportunity to Shout Out & wish good Muslims in Malaysia & around the world celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri tomorrow, A Happy Hari Raya Aidilfitri. After a month’s of fasting, restraining one self from much food & drinks, many good muslims around the world celebrate the end of the fasting month with daily feasts of seasonal foods (Shopping for bargains is good too).

In Malaysia it is glutinous rice cooked in bamboo wood & marinated spicy beef cutlets which are popular. Food is not the only main agenda in the annual festivities. The coming together of families & relatives after the fasting month also makes the Raya Aidilfitri holidays more special. To my lady, Gulfiya in Tatarstan, Russia, I wish that I could spend the Raya Aidilfitri with you. :)

Return to Blogging about Movies & Celebrities Soon

Nonetheless, I had to wake up early & had little sleep last night because my girl’s flight to Moscow was at 7.30 in the morning so we had to be at the airport early. There are so many experiences of my Beijing holiday that I would like to share with you readers.

So soon enough, I can continue blogging about movies & celebrities as usual after today. I am so excited. Well, off to unpacking my bags for me now. I feel like I might have lost a few pounds from walking the Great Wall of China with my girl that day. My legs are still aching. I can feel the humidity of the Malaysian climate affecting me already.

I’m Back From Beijing Today!

I just arrived home from my Beijing holiday with my girl today. It was a well deserved 8 days break from everything for me including blogging. I had a lot of fun on the holiday. Readers can read about it on my voyage echoes in the wind blog. Now, I am going to rest & rid of the jet lag or at least the fatigue from walking strenuously everyday in Beijing. Malaysia is like in the same time zone as Beijing so maybe I won’t be suffering from any jet lag.

Busy Planning for Summer 2007 Beijing Trip

It had been a busy week for me today. I did some browsing on the internet for my Beijing trip with my girl, Gulfiya. It was not as easy as I had expected to meet each other in Beijing from two different countries, Tatarstan & Malaysia.

A lot of variables came into play. Namely visa & flight ticket issues. I had been doing work on our holiday since a week ago, calling travel agencies about flight tickets, visa, tours & hotel bookings.

I am still working on the holiday arrangements & so is Gulfiya. Our trip was planned for July, then August, & now it is projected for September 2007. For more insights about our trips, please visit my voyage echoes in the wind blog.

Found some DVDs I Missed Viewing

I found a few DVD’s which I had missed watching a few months ago. There was Fragile, Derailed, Hostel, & Casper (I did not watch it when it first released). I wanted to see the Casper movie at first but my PC could not make the DVD work. I cannot watch some DVDs on my PC. It seems to be a problem with my pc’s DVD drive.

Fragile & Derailed are two movies worth watching while enjoying some popcorn. Casper & The Hostel were just too "old" & too gruesome for me respectively.

Refocusing Blog Content from Slight Detour

I think now is the moment to refocus my blog for celebrity content. I was so excited with my new domain & website that I could not resist sharing my experience with you readers. I apologize about the slight detour of content on the blog the past few days.

I got my first few Wordpress blogs installed although I have not made any posts on them yet. Those interested to take a look at my new blogs, please scroll down the page to "Other A.I. blogs" at the right side bar.

I should expect some more "beginner" technical problems like posts not showing up on my new blogs & etc. I shall post my experiences about them in the future. For now, I am going to drive the movie special blog back to celebrity land.

Best to Maintain Blogger Bar

It seems that taking away the Blogger Navbar is against Blogger Terms of Service although it seems to be loosely enforced. Nonetheless, it is best not to risk having our blogs deleted from the free Blogger service. It may be possible to rid of the Blogger bar only for blogger blogs that are not hosted by Blogger. Since my blogs are hosted free on Blogger, I have decided to return the Blogger bar to normal status on all of my Blogger hosted blogs. I would suggest to all the readers of my Movie Special blog to maintain the Blogger bar. It is better to be safe than sorry.
