Much to their surprise, I mentioned to them that I can buy a Nikon S700 third party battery, in fact, a pair of them, with a charger, car adaptor & have the items hipped to me in Malaysia for about MYR 50 while their price for only a single original Nikon S700 was MYR 100 plus. Boy, you should have seen the expression on the sales attendant face over at Photo Flash when I told him about it. Lol. Man, he was flabbergasted! After a good chat with the folks at the shop & browsing at the items, close to thirty minutes, I received a call from Annie of Foto Miami. She mentioned that she had successfully found a person named Jimmy who can send over the 1 kit lens Olympus e-420 package to me at Ampang Point tonight & he shall ring me on my cell phone after 5 minutes.

Boy, do I feel cheated now. :-\ There is definitely something wrong with the surge protector industry in Malaysia! Otherwise, some dingbat businessman had bought surge protectors, imported from the US through Singapore instead of buying it straight from the China factory (Shipping cost from China to Malaysia is cheaper than US-Malaysia, you see). Unfortunately, it makes me feel like a dingbat too for having bought the particular surge protector. Well, how to about it? All the dingbat shop owners also sell the same surge protectors. No choices hence I cannot be open-minded about it.

I have surveyed the price of the Belkin SurgeMaster 4 socket surge protector home series at one Malaysian online shop & another at FMC technologies on 3rd floor of Ampang Point. The online shop sells it for MYR 109 minus courier while the latter sells it for the same price too. I bargained to include Aztech WL230USB 2.0 wireless adaptor into my purchase & bought it for MYR 95 at FMC technologies, Ampang Point. Anyway, I believe I can find a cheaper price elsewhere. Well, now I know & you can know too to buy a good China ‘cap ayam’ brand surge protector in the future. Screw the brand, quality at a decent price is good enough for me!

You know, it feels more like he was bullying me for money rather than me actually giving the bribe. I did not even offer it to him. He asked for it like "Give me a few dollars now". Yep, No Water at Home Again

I just woke up to find no freaking water at my home in Ampang. I reckon all my neighbors are experiencing the same problem too. It happens every once a few weeks. Perhaps some people are probably working on the water pipes, digging a hole near the water pipe, or whatever tonight. It’s really a hassle to be living without decent water supply. I mean, how are we supposed to go about our toilet business? *chuckle* It’s horrible! I woke up, wanting to wash my face; of course I usually journey down to the kitchen without even washing my face first.

Yeah, I know, it’s a bad habit. Think of all the people or guests looking at me with my hair all untidy, groggy eyes, disconcerted clothing, & etc. Hopefully, the water supply will return after a few hours. Meanwhile, I am not going to be eating any heavy foods. It’s not convenient to be feeling like wanting to go to the toilet knowing there is no water in the pipes. It will be only one toilet flush experience! Maybe you do not understand what I mean but it. Maybe it’s better for you. *chuckle* I reckon adding a new bigger cistern on the roof would be a good idea.
